Hi, I'm LinaI'm a software engineer, builder, teacher, creator, part-time tree climber
Lina is a Software Engineering student powered almost entirely by caffeine, rage, and questionable amounts of determination. A proud jack of all trades, she’s usually building something, learning something new, taking a walk, or maintaining a suspiciously long Risk win streak.

The person behind the commits.
I spend most of my days typing git commit -m "commit for the love of god" followed by git push origin main, hoping that this time, everything actually works.
But there's more to software engineering than pushing code and praying it doesn't break.
So, if you want to get to know the person behind the commits, I've built you a little window into my world. See through my eyes, type through my hands, and experience a tiny fraction of the beautiful abomination I deal with daily to bring software products to life.
Go ahead. Type help or whoami.
I promise this terminal is less dangerous than my actual one. :)
// Tip: there are some easter eggs, enjoy!

MY FIRST GAME
Where I started
Back in 2022, I took my first web development course. Basic HTML, CSS, JS, and a few easy frameworks. It was my first introduction to anything involving graphics.
A few months later, I took a similar course at university. By then, I already knew my way around. And by “knew my way around,” I mean I could center a div.
Naturally, I decided my course project should be a whole retro arcade. Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and a few other old 2D games.
And this game right here was my very first attempt at creating a 2D video game. AI coding tools weren't really a thing in my world back then. So, armed with a half-paywalled tutorial, lots of research, and a few dozen cups of coffee, this was the result.
It's not perfect. It's not even the full game. I was so focused on getting the mechanics to work that I completely neglected the user experience. I even used console.log to tell you whether you won or lost (which I've kept, by the way).
But damn, out of everything I've created to this day, this is still my proudest achievement.
